Recently, The Speech Spot started to use an EMR (electronic medical record) system, called ClinicNote. This partnership has been a great fit from the start. ClinicNote has been so helpful in getting our systems up and running while being timely and attentive to all the glitches and questions that come along with beginning a new system. So naturally, when they asked me, Liz Dunn, to participate in their podcast that highlights private practitioners and their journeys to starting a practice, it was hard to pass up. I was honored to be asked, actually.

You can check out our episode by heading over to your podcast platform and searching "Clinic Chats: The Speech Therapist's Private Practice Podcast." Episode #3 focuses on how The Speech Spot came to be, what it's like balancing motherhood and work life, and The Speech Spot's most valuable asset, it's clients. It was so much fun chatting with the host, Kaide Jackstadt, a former private practice owner herself. She edited the podcast to about 20 minutes, but we could have chatted all day!
