About The Speech Spot

About The Spot:

The Speech Spot started as an outlet for busy parents to get the speech and language services their children deserve.  We provide flexible after school hours as well as some weekend availability to meet the needs of active families.  We have a dedicated therapy room and the resources to specifically target your child's needs.

The Speech Spot specializes in services for children in preschool through fifth  grade. However, please call to discuss your child's needs to determine if we are able to provide services.

We accept private paying clients as well as those enrolled with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and Missouri Health Net. We are continually adding more insurance plans so please do not hesitate to ask if we accept your insurance plan.

The Speech Spot is located in the heart of South Saint Louis, at the corner of Ivanhoe and Fyler, just a few blocks from I-44 and Jamieson and Ted Drewes!

Why The Spot?:

Is your child having trouble speaking or being understood?  Are they often times frustrated finding words or expressing basic needs? Are they having problems understanding or processing language? Do they have difficulty making social connections with peers?  The Spot is here to guide and support you and your child so they can reach their full potential.

The Spot provides individual, goal orientated speech and language sessions for your child. Sessions are thoughtfully planned out with your child's needs in mind. The Spot is designed to service families looking for a primary speech therapist and for those looking to supplement existing school services.  We will see students who attend public school, private schools, or who are homeschooled. Please call to discuss your child's needs and schedule an initial consultation.
